Safety in the air

Do you alway’s pay attention to the flight attendants safety instructions?

Hi fellow readers. Just landed in Vienna and now waiting for my next flight. I’ve got 2.5 hours till my next flight so I thought I’d share with you my experience with the Austrian airport, but this post I will dedicate to the topic of safety instructions on the plane. If you find flying a little uncomfortable alike then please do participate in this topic. Well the reason being is coz I’m terrified of heights, so I’m always a lil more stressed when it comes to flying abroad. On the plane I’m probably one of the few that pay solid attention to the safety instructions demonstrations by the flight attendants. My faveourite safety instructions were the ones on virgin flights.

If you have an interesting, funny or akward story related to safety instructions on the plane please email me and I will post your story onto...

What’s in my bag?

Hello fellow readers, this blog post is about handbags and what we keep in them. Handbags have been a part of the female people many hundreds of years and it is very hard to imagine us ladies without one.
I’ve tried it once or thrice but it felt like was missing one of my limbs or like i’ve lost somethin’

[image.jpg](https://svbtleusercontent.com/p4yg0rhk8pgoj

Anyways here’s what I’m keepin in my handbag these days:

image.jpg

1) money wallet
2) coin purse
3) iphone & nokia
4) tissues & wet wipes
5) make up purse
6) car and office keys
7) glasses case
8) business cards
9) hand cream - hate dry hand feeling
10) hand sanitizer - to keep germs away
11) chewing gum
12) earphones
13) phone charger
14) note pad

That’s why us girlies need our hand bags to hold all. Lately men are sporting bags too, I guess it is due to the technology gadgets they need to carry.

My lovely hubby :)

Hidden Style

recent creations by Kosova’s - Krenare Rugova

On October 17th 2014 I went to my fave Kosovan fashion designer Krenare Rugova’s fashion show. Krenare Rugova named her new collection hidden; the location certainly enhanced the notion ‘hidden’ furthermore. We invitees found ourselves in a large garage setting the scene of an underground and grunge atmosphere.

From 9 - 9.20 all of the invited guests were seated and the show began, lights on the runway turned on, the music started and the girls began walking one and two at a time showcasing Krenare’s 2014 Autumn/Winter collection. I as a regular buyer of her wonderful creations it’s always lovely to see her creative work.

I truly love it when Krenare does what i like to call ‘office work wear’ as I benefit from wearing unique wear @ work, brilliant for when living in a small city since you are bound to find someone wearing the same blouse...

A lovely day with the Bears

at the Bear Sanctuary Prishtina, Kosovo

Hello fellow readers of my blog. The previous weekend, I opted for an outdoor adventure. I wanted to get my lil one away from the TV, iPad, iPhones or any other modern technology devices and indoor play areas. Instead I wanted us to engage with the nature fresh air, water, grass, mud. A few weeks back I remembered I was exposed to a Billboard Poster advertising the Bear Sanctuary Prishtina (hint Bill Board advertising still quite effective) and decided that it would be an added bonus to spend a day outdoors and see cute bears too. Lucky for us it was rather a warm sunny Sunday in October.

My lil one was so excited and so was I. My hubby agreed to join our lil adventure - so it was a three party nature adventure yey. We drove down to the Bear Sanctuary Prishtina, as we got closer the nature looked so beautiful that day, the sun was bright and...

Get Lippy

With bespoke YSL ROUGE PUR COUTURE

Hello fellow readers of my blog. I’m back with a new post, sincere apologies for my absence. I’ve been super duper busy these days, hence short on my post updates - but rest assure I am back.

I’ve obsessed with cosmetic products lately. So this post, you’ve possibly guessed :) it’s going to be about beauty products. Although, instead of reviewing the usage of the products - this time I will write about the packaging.

Perhaps working in advertising for many years now I have subsumed to owning a ‘third’ eye and details of packaging is highly important to me. This
is no doubt what influences my brand selection, in aid of the parse a product shouts out to me as a potential buyer.

I will probably dedicate future posts on packaging design,
but this time I want to throw up for analysis my favorite lippy from the YSL ROUGE PUR COUTUR line. Also what...

Celebrating a love for Colours

because colour is much more fun

Greetings fellow readers of my blog. Are you a fan of colours just like me?

I am a lady who loves to see colour around me. Perhaps it’s because I’ve been working in a world of creativity for a long while, or my love for nature from a young age. Nature it’s self is made of colour, therefore, we are inhabitants of a colourful globe from very early primative eras until todays new technology dominated era, where our TV and Computer screens are advancing so quickly. How boring would life be if our world was monochrome, and if our TV sets still projected black and white material. We’d all be so depressed and confused.

Colour is rather an imporant element in our human life. It is what helps us with chategrisation and classification of different objects, clothes, even a chategoration of our genders. For example, this is still the case today Pink is for Girls...

Water Spring in Albania

The Blue Eye

Greetings fellow readers of my blog. Recently, while returning from Saranda on the route home, I planned to visit the profound spring, in Albanian it is called ‘Syri I Kaltert’ - english translation ‘The Blue Eye’.

Seriously, I did not imagine it would be as beautiful as I’ve been informed via word of mouth by various people. This natural gift, to this part of the earth is AMAZINGLY beautiful. So serene, so picturesque, so alluring, one really inhibits a calming state of mode while here. The greenery and the beautiful water spring is so fairytale like.

The water I drank from a spring tap available at one of the restaurant, I tell you is so tastefully fresh, I really never tasted such refreshing water before. I had a sore throat at the time and it felt like this water somehow miraculously just soothed away that horrible sore pain in my throat. My advice if you do...

Southcoast of Albania

Saranda and Ksamil

Greetings to you readers of my blog. As promised, this post will be about my recommendations in regards to Saranda and Ksamil. In actual fact I will only be writing about the several places I recommend you visit if you ever decide to visit the south coast of Albania.

Here’s some brief info on Saranda and Ksamil before I introduce you to my recommendations. Saranda is a popular district on the Albanian Riviera. Its population is about 30,000. It’s name derives the Byzantine monastery called ‘Agioi Saranda’ - translation ‘Forty Saints’.

Unknown.jpg

Saranda has a small town to take a quick tour around to see some of the historical monuments.

And a promenade where you can have nice walks with your companions after eating dinner and enjoy the view of the small harbors.

The beaches in Saranda are so lovely, with clear waters, but the water may seem a little too cold for...

An ancient city: Butrint

Remarkable archeological site in southwest Albania

Hello fellow readers, hope you’ve all been well. Firstly, it’s been a short while that I haven’t posted anything on my blog; this is because I was away on a short holiday in the south coast of Albania. This year I wanted to see the most astonishing beaches I’ve been hearing about, which are found in Saranda and Ksamil. However, I will write about the best parts of my holiday in Saranda and Ksamil in my next post.

Whereas, today’s post I am eager to tell you about a special visit I made to a historical site called Butrint. This is a must visit to anyone near the area, you will be sincerely amazed. Butrint is about 14 km south from Saranda and near to the Greek border.

Butrint, in antiquity it was known as Bouthroton, in ancient Greek times it was known as Bouthrotos and in Latin Buthrotum. Today it is known as Butrint, it is a port...

PITTA BREAD

find out how to make them at home

Pitta bread was always present in our home while living in the UK. Since they were no longer available to me when I moved away, I wanted to learn how to make them because I missed eating them so much.

In this post I will add a link to a video on youtube that shows you how to make them simply and quickly.

Pitta breads are flat white bread that are so delicious on their own or filled with different filling recipes. I really like pitta breads beacuse they are flat, less dough in them - so much more flattering if we like keeping ourselves slim.

Pitta bread are so delicious when dipping into wonderfully tasting dips like humous and eating them while they are still warm - so mouthwatering.

They are an excellent idea to have them as staters or nibble snacks when you have a celebration going on.
